BALANCING ASANA SEQUENCES
The following sequences explore balance in many dimensions: one arm and one leg, two arms and one leg, sitting bones only, arms only, front and back, effort and release, intention and surprise. As you do your balancing asana sequences, remember to establish your seat first. What part of you is touching the earth? Then begin to observe your breath and let it give you feedback about if and where you are trying to make your pose solidâgripping with your eyes, your calves, your tummy. Rest in a state of not-knowing by allowing the movement of the breath, the earth, your heartbeat, all to contribute to the fresh experience of your practice today.
